Job description: Jetting Engineer Assistant – Avonmouth , Bristol – Temporary to Permanent

We are recruiting for someone to work in a two person team assisting the Jetting Engineer. This will be a field based role covering the Somerset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire area.

You will meet at the Avonmouth depot each morning between 7.00 and 8.00am, Monday to Friday – you will work 8 hours each day and have a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.

The starting rate of pay is £10.00 an hour with enhanced rates for overtime. This is a minimum annual salary of £20,800

You will be assisting the Drainage Engineer to operate the jetting equipment and vacuum units to deal with any drainage related issue. These could include emergencies like blockages or planned maintenance and cleaning.

You will be working on various different sites including, commercial, highways, rail, utility and residential.

You will be working outside and there will be manual handling involved. It is desirable but not essential to have construction or roadworks experience.
