We are currently commissioning our Polymer Recycling Plant in Avonmouth near Bristol and we are looking for Feedstock Quality Technicians to join our new day team, working on average 38.5 hours per week, on a 4 days on, 4 days off rota, with a 12 hour working day.
The purpose of this role is to determine the quality of incoming waste plastics, in order for the Production team to begin the next step in the process. As a Feedstock Quality Technician, you will undertake the sampling, inspection, and analysis of incoming waste plastics for grading within a working feedstock/delivery yard environment. These tasks will be conducted in accordance with company methods and health and safety standards, whilst ensuring that all results are recorded accurately in our electronic databases.
Reporting to the shift Quality Supervisor, you will work with the wider team to ensure production requirements are met and be a motivated self-starter with a keen eye for detail. There may also be opportunities to support the Quality Laboratory Technicians in testing the end product, as well as the potential for further development. As part of this role, there may be a requirement to operate a Fork Lift Truck and full training will be given if necessary.

- Knowledge of Health and Safety
- Goods in / Goods out experience in a warehouse, food or other goods in / goods out environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- IT skills including the use of the Microsoft applications, such as Teams, Outlook, Excel
- Mobile plant experience would be beneficial, but not essential.
