Our offices are in Bristol in the South West of England – an area fast becoming a major centre for robotics. Roles and Responsibilities

In the 12-month Aerospace/Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering Placement, you’ll gain invaluable skills and experience covering all aspects of engineering from requirements analysis, to product design to defining test specifications.

Within this Placement, you could be operating in technical environments supporting manufacturing and product quality, jet engines and aircraft structures production and overhaul, oil and gas products for downhole technology, measurement and sensing or looking at computed models for product design.

You will be guided by structured goals and objectives and will have responsibility to deliver on inspiring projects supported by your manager and team around you. We will support you throughout the year to ensure you make the best of your GE experience. Your manager will offer coaching and mentoring, and the Company will provide the opportunity to connect with other placement students across the UK.

Currently studying towards an Engineering related degree – penultimate/final year * Passionate about engineering

  • All placements are available to penultimate/final year students and will start between June to August 2022, for a duration of 12 months.
