Would you like to join the T26 project team supporting all aspects of planning in maintaining the Combat Systems project delivery schedules? We currently have a vacancy for a Project Planner at our site in Filton with remote working opportunities.
Reporting to the Project Planning Manager, you will support all aspects of planning, including weekly and monthly schedule updates, Change management, Critical Path Analysis, Earned Value Management and Schedule Variance reporting.
This role will provide you with exciting opportunities to work with different disciplines and multiple functions, enabling you to gain further exposure across the business and develop your skills further.
Your main responsibilities as a Project Planner will involve:
- Managing and controlling the Level 2/3 project schedules against baseline conditions, including Labour and Materials
- Gathering process information from the wider team and business stakeholders
- Weekly analyses of the plan(s) and reports describing the outcome of the analyses for Senior Management consumption
- Inputting and analysing data from the planning tool set
- Providing regular status reports of the schedule adherence (including critical path/ Gant Chart) and manage key milestone reporting
- Configuration management of the schedule and toolsets, including embodiment of agreed project changes
Your skills and qualifications:
Sound knowledge of planning principles, toolsets and processes
Proficiency in planning software skills and highly proficient in the use of planning packages (Primavera preferable)
Working experience of planning in a project delivery environment
Recognised Project Management qualifications
