The Students Union at the College formulates part of the Plus+ programme and works closely alongside the Tutorial and Enrichment provision. The Students Union liaises with a series of additional learner services at the College including SGS Active, Library Plus+, Future Quest to offer an enriching clubs and societies offer across our four campuses at WISE, Queens Road, Filton and Stroud.
We are looking to appoint a Student Union Enrichment Officer who will be responsible for developing and implementing a fun and engaging clubs and societies offer at our campuses alongside the planning of our fantastic Freshers Fayre which takes place in September of each year. As a Student Union Enrichment Officer, the successful applicant will be responsible for the planning, co-ordination, recording and delivery of the Student Union offer.
The successful applicant will also support with the development, delivery and monitoring of the Tutorial and Enrichment provision at the College. As such an understanding of key societal issues and challenges is advantageous for the successful applicant to ensure that content is relevant and appropriate for our 16-19-year-old students. The successful applicant will have a passion for the holistic development of students and will have a passion for providing memorable learner experiences at the College. The role requires someone who is highly organised and efficient, and able to problem-solve very effectively.
